Campaign posters of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) presidential candidate, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, and the party’s Lagos State governorship candidate, Prince Laja Adeoye, have appeared in several parts of Lagos ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The campaign materials were sighted in areas including Ikeja, Ogba, Oshodi, Iyana Ipaja, Ikotun and Lagos Island, among other locations across the state. The posters, designed in the party’s colours and bearing its cassava logo, promote the slogan “Atunto Eko 1.0,” which the campaign describes as its development agenda for Lagos State.

Speaking on the campaign programme, Adeoye said the APM agenda would focus on key issues affecting residents, including employment, affordable housing, transportation, healthcare, flooding, waste management and security. He said proposed job-creation initiatives would include technology hubs, agro-processing clusters and skills-development programmes across the state.

On housing, the candidate said an APM administration would seek partnerships with the private sector to expand access to affordable housing and single-digit mortgage financing. He also proposed the expansion of bus rapid transit services, integration of water transportation, construction of additional bus terminals and the digitisation of traffic management as part of efforts to improve mobility.

Adeoye further outlined plans to strengthen primary healthcare, including the proposed rehabilitation and equipping of 57 primary healthcare centres within 18 months. On flooding and waste management, he proposed the desilting of major canals and the introduction of waste-to-wealth programmes, while also identifying technology as a tool for improving community security.
The Laja Adeoye Campaign Organisation (LACO) had earlier announced the commencement of electioneering activities ahead of the 2027 Lagos governorship election, following the timetable released by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). According to the organisation, its campaign would focus primarily on policies and issues affecting residents rather than personalities.
LACO said its engagement programme would cover communities across Lagos, including Lagos Island, Epe, Alimosho, Badagry, Ikeja, Lagos Mainland, Agege and Ibeju-Lekki. The organisation said it would engage professionals, artisans, traders, youths, women, traditional institutions, religious bodies, civil society organisations and other stakeholders as it presents the APM’s proposed policies to the electorate.
The campaign organisation also urged supporters and members of its team to conduct themselves peacefully and in accordance with the law throughout the electioneering period, stressing that its objective was to engage Lagos residents on practical solutions to the challenges facing the state ahead of the 2027 election.
