The Overseer of The Angel of Christ Gospel Church, Isale Oremeji, Agugu area of Ibadan, Oyo State, Prophet Samuel Olabode Samiye, has congratulated the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his victory in the August 15, 2026 governorship election.
In his congratulatory message through 9ja News 24/7, Prophet Samiye described the victory as a significant moment in the political history of Osun State and a renewed opportunity for Governor Adeleke to consolidate his administration’s programmes and deliver more dividends of democracy to the people.
The cleric urged the governor to see his re-election as a fresh mandate and a call to greater service, humility, wisdom and inclusive governance. He also encouraged the governor to extend a hand of fellowship to all political stakeholders and work for the unity, peace and development of Osun State.
Prophet Samiye prayed that God would grant Governor Adeleke divine wisdom, strength, good health and uncommon grace as he prepares to begin his second term in office.
He declared prophetically that the new administration would be marked by peace, progress, favour and greater developmental achievements, praying that God would protect the governor, his family, his deputy, members of the cabinet and all those entrusted with the responsibility of serving the people of Osun State.

The Prophet further prayed for unity among the people of Osun State, regardless of political affiliation, saying that the election should mark the beginning of a new chapter of reconciliation, cooperation and collective development.
He called on the people of Osun State to support peaceful governance and give the governor the necessary cooperation to fulfil the mandate entrusted to him by the electorate.
Prophet Samiye concluded by wishing Governor Adeleke a successful second term, while praying that his tenure would be remembered for impactful leadership, human development, infrastructural growth and improved welfare for the people of Osun State.
