CONGRATULATIONS TO THE GOOD PEOPLE OF OYO STATE ON THE WISE AND PEOPLE-ORIENTED CHOICE OF HIS EXCELLENCY, GOVERNOR SEYI MAKINDE
In the political history of Oyo State, Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde has once again demonstrated uncommon leadership, sincerity of purpose, and deep commitment to the collective interest of the people by carefully identifying a worthy successor whose experience, competence, integrity, and administrative capacity align perfectly with the aspirations of the good people of Oyo State.
Speaking with journalists today, Monday, 12th May 2026, in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, Comrade Moroof Oladejo, former PDP Councillorship Aspirant for Ward 5, Akinyele Local Government, and Chairman of the OID Youth Ambassadors, commended His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, for what he described as “putting a square peg in a square hole” through the endorsement of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi as the preferred candidate to continue the progressive transformation and people-centered governance currently being enjoyed across the state.
Comrade Oladejo noted that Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi possesses the political experience, leadership quality, intellectual capacity, and grassroots connection required to sustain and consolidate the achievements of the Omituntun Agenda of GSM beyond 2027.
He further expressed confidence that the people of Oyo State would continue to witness unprecedented growth, infrastructural development, economic advancement, youth empowerment, and inclusive governance under the leadership of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi.
He therefore called on civil servants, pensioners, artisans, farmers, professionals, market men and women, youths, students, traditional institutions, religious leaders, and all well-meaning stakeholders across Oyo State to unite, pray, and mobilize massive support towards the emergence of Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi as the next Executive Governor of Oyo State in the 2027 general election.
According to him, the continuity of good governance and sustainable development in Oyo State remains paramount, and the people must rally behind a tested, trusted, and visionary leader who understands the true essence of service to humanity.
“Under Hon. Bimbo Adekanmbi, the Omituntun vision shall not only continue but will attain greater heights for the benefit of present and future generations.”
