A Social political group in Oyo State known for the propagation of the Governor Seyi Makinde FNSE administration good works, The GSMists under the able leadership of Prince Tella Oluyinka, has expressed his heartfelt condolences on behalf of the group over the passing of Chief Yekini Adeojo. Chief Adeojo was a renowned figure in Oyo State, and his demise has left a void in the community.
The group described Chief Adeojo as father, a pillar of courage and tenacity in th development of Oyo State. Chief Yekini Adeojọ passed away on Friday, 4th April, 2025. The group maintained that Chief Yekini was the first gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, a former member of the PDP Board of Trustees, and a role model the the peoples Governor, Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde.
Chief Adeojo’s passing is a significant loss to the people of Oyo State, Nigeria and the world at large. The group GSMists’s condolences reflect the widespread admiration and respect for the late chief.
The group noted that the legacy of Chief Yekini Adeojo will continue to inspire generations yet unborn come, and this tribute is a testament to the enduring impact of his life and work.
We hereby commiserate with Gov. Makinde on this colossal loss to the state, as this was a rude shock, an irreplaceable irreparable loss that no one ever predicted will happen. May the creator grant his family, the state and other well-wishers the fortitudes to bear the loss.
