The Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has expressed that Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State is sincere and consistent in his decision and leadership.
Speaking on a radio program anchored by Mayor Isaac Brown on Fresh FM on Saturday, Chief Adelabu said Governor Makinde is firm and unwavering on his stand on local government autonomy.
The Minister noted that Governor Makinde’s position on local government autonomy has been consistent, dating back to his campaign debates at Mouve 21 and the University of Ibadan ahead of the 2023 elections.
Despite knowing his stance, the people of Oyo State still re-elected him for a second term, demonstrating their trust in his leadership, he added.
