The Lagos State chapter of the Allied People’s Movement (APM) has reaffirmed its readiness to contest and win elections across all levels, declaring its support for the Seyi Makinde/Lawal Daura presidential ticket, Prince Laja Adeoye/Mrs Kemi Adenuga governorship ticket, and all other candidates of the party.

The party made this known in a press release issued on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, and signed by its State Publicity Secretary, Ayodele Kazeem Olalekan, in which it assured members, supporters and the general public that its structures remained united, focused and strategically prepared for the forthcoming elections.

According to the statement, APM Lagos is building a formidable political movement through strategic planning, grassroots mobilisation, effective communication and the collective commitment of its members to provide Nigerians and Lagosians with a credible political alternative.

The party also expressed concern over what it described as distractions, misinformation and political manoeuvres allegedly intended to create confusion within its ranks and undermine its growing political relevance.

It, however, maintained that such developments would not derail its electoral objectives, stressing that it remained committed to its established structures, internal discipline and strategic direction.

Addressing concerns surrounding the identity of its deputy governorship candidate, the party categorically stated that Mrs Kemi Adenuga remained its duly nominated and recognised candidate for the position in Lagos State.

The statement further claimed that Adenuga’s name had been uploaded to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) portal and displayed by the Commission in accordance with the party’s nomination process.

It consequently urged party members and the general public to disregard unsubstantiated claims capable of creating uncertainty, advising them to rely on verifiable information from appropriate official channels.

Reiterating its commitment to lawful and democratic participation, APM Lagos said its immediate priority was to strengthen grassroots structures, mobilise voters and communicate its policy alternatives to the electorate.

The party noted that its electoral mission covered the presidential and governorship elections, the three senatorial districts, all House of Representatives constituencies and the Lagos State House of Assembly.

It called on its candidates, members, supporters and stakeholders to remain calm, united and focused, urging them to avoid unnecessary divisions and concentrate on strengthening the party ahead of the elections.

“Our message is clear: APM Lagos State is organised, APM Lagos State is focused, and APM Lagos State is determined to win,” the statement declared, adding that misinformation and alleged attempts at political sabotage would not weaken its resolve.

The party concluded by urging its members to embrace discipline, unity, hard work and commitment as it pursues its electoral ambitions under the slogan, “Nigeria First.”
