The Founder, Harrison Niyi Alonge Care Foundation, Harrison Niyi Alonge visited the iconic Anfield Stadium, home of Liverpool Football Club, in the United Kingdom with mission to explore opportunities for promoting sports among Ekiti youths.
During the visit, Alonge met with Liverpool FC officials and discussed potential partnerships to develop and support youth sports programs in Ekiti State, Nigeria.
The Ekiti born philanthropist and advocate of good governance in Ekiti State emphasized the importance of sports in shaping the lives of young people and fostering community development in the state.
Alonge, in a statement made available to newsmen through his media aide, Comrade Olawale Ezekiel in Ado Ekiti, Nigeria says; “I am excited about the possibilities of collaborating with Liverpool FC to create a positive impact on Ekiti youths through sports,” said Alonge. “Our foundation is committed to empowering young people, and sports can play a significant role in their physical, emotional, and social growth.”
“The visit to Anfield Stadium marks the beginning of a new chapter in promoting sports development among Ekiti youths looks forward to working with stakeholders to create opportunities for young people to engage in sports, develop their talents, and build a brighter future”, he said.
