The Members of People Democratic Party in Ibadan Northwest has totally united for victory in the April 27 Local Government Election in the state.
In a week long courtesy visit for the Eleven (11)wards in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government initiated by the Director General of Rahman/Ganiy 2.0 Hon Rale and critical members of the campaign council, harmony and unity were the order of the day at respective wards.
The visit was initiated as a means of peace resolution in wards with grievances but turned out to be an exciting moment as leaders and non partisan residents of communities respectively endorse ward councillorship candidates and chairmanship candidates of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government.
In separate remarks of individual residents, they totally supported the People Democratic Party for the good governance and peaceful environment in Oyo State under the administration of Governor Seyi Makinde which also reflected to the administration of Hon Rahman Adepoju and Ganiy Omotosho as the local government level.
They hence promised 100% votes for the Peoples Democratic Party PDP, in the forthcoming 2024 local government elections.
In the statement of the Director-General of the campaign, Hon Rale Opeyemi Olumuyiwa at respective communities, further reacted to the importance of reelecting of Hon Rahman Adepoju and Hon Ganiy Omotosho as Executive Chairman and Vice Chairman of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, promising continuous sustainable development in the local government.
Reacting, the ward chairmen appreciated the campaign team for their visit respectively, say thus;
“We thank you for your visit to our ward to see our cooperation and unity in the party,
“You can also observe the utmost cooperation for the total victory to the Chairmanship, Vice Chairmanship and Councillorship Candidates of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government.”
However, some members advocate for the reward of democracy dividends in accordance with political activeness and selflessness.
In various wards, critical leaders were acknowledged and also gave their words in support for the party People Democratic party, they includes Alh Labule Ishola, S. A. to Governor Seyi Makinde (Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest), Alh Kazeem Fantola, LG Chief of Staff, Hajia Bola, lG Asst Secretary among others.
For leadership roles in the party, Baba Eko a foremost leader and Mogaji Fagbemi of Ward 1, and Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke of Ward 6 were acknowledged.
In the teams, we have members of the campaign council ranging from various committees to present, returning and incoming councillors.
It was a successful outing with good response from the members and leaders at various wards visited by the contact and mobilization committee where they assured their total support.
More so the last visit record memorable outing as the party chairman Alhaji Lukman Adesina commended the team and supported the train with reasonable gift and pray for success of the mission.
