The Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alhaji AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju, has congratulated the newly elected PDP executives of the local government, led by Hon. Kazeem Fantola, on their appointments.
In his message, the Chairman appreciated all party faithfuls for their maturity and peaceful conduct during the Congress. He assured them that the present administration under the leadership of His Excellency Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde is committed to ensuring that everyone benefit and have reasons to smile.
Alhaji Adepoju urged the new executives to carry out their responsibilities with efficiency, transparency, and a strong sense of accountability. He emphasized that their appointments are not necessarily a reflection of superiority over others, rather the will of God. He therefore charged them to justify the trust reposed in them by working in unity for the progress of the party, the local government, and Oyo State at large.
The Council Boss further described Hon. Kazeem Fantola, who until his appointment was his Chief of Staff, as a loyal and humble individual, well-regarded for his good character. He encouraged him to remain steadfast in these virtues and to leverage his political experience to foster unity and prevent any form of crisis within the party.
Meanwhile, Alhaji Adepoju has commended the immediate past party chairman, Alhaji Lukman Adesina, for his outstanding performance during his tenure. He wished him continued success in his political journey.
