The Laja Adeoye Campaign Organization (LACO) has described the Governor Seyi Makinde as a leader who has demonstrated the strength, energy and determination required to reset Nigeria.

The organisation reaffirmed commitment to the governorship ambition of Laja Adeoye in Lagos State, insisting that the national Reset Nigeria agenda and Reset Lagos – Àtúntò Èkó vision represent complementary efforts to deliver purposeful leadership and improve the welfare of citizens.

The position followed the Makinde-Daura 2027 Presidential South-West Town Hall Meeting held in Akure, Ondo State, on Thursday, October 22, 2026, where Makinde presented his vision for national renewal and called for leadership driven by competence, energy and readiness to serve.

Speaking on the development, Olusegun Taiwo, Senior Special Assistant on Digital Media Communication to the Laja Adeoye Campaign Organization, said Makinde had demonstrated the strength and commitment required to lead the country towards a new direction.
According to Taiwo, the governor’s emphasis on physical energy, capacity and the ability to confront Nigeria’s challenges underscores the need for leadership that prioritises performance and results over political entitlement.
He noted that Makinde’s Reset Nigeria agenda, which focuses on education, economic growth, security and socio-political empowerment, offers an opportunity to address some of the country’s most pressing challenges.
Taiwo added that Laja Adeoye was equally prepared to bring a renewed approach to governance in Lagos State through his Àtúntò Èkó agenda, which focuses on critical areas including housing, healthcare, employment, electricity, transportation and security.
He said the two visions shared a common objective: building a society where government works for the people, creates opportunities and improves living standards.

The campaign organisation further disclosed that they were fully on ground in Akure to demonstrate solidarity with Makinde, his running mate, Alhaji Lawal Daura, Lagos governorship candidate Laja Adeoye and all other APM candidates contesting the 2027 general elections.
Taiwo said the organisation’s presence reflected its determination to strengthen party unity, support the campaign’s grassroots mobilisation efforts and ensure that the APM’s message reached communities across the South-West.
He called on party members, supporters and eligible voters to participate actively in the democratic process, obtain their Permanent Voter Cards and mobilise support for candidates they believe can deliver effective governance.
He maintained that the campaign’s commitment went beyond political declarations, stressing the importance of sustained engagement with citizens and building a movement capable of translating campaign promises into practical solutions.
He expressed confidence that closer cooperation among APM leaders, candidates and grassroots supporters would strengthen the party’s position in Lagos State and across the country ahead of the 2027 elections.
He reiterated that LACO remained committed to supporting the Makinde-Daura presidential ticket, Laja Adeoye’s governorship ambition and all APM candidates as the party advances its vision of national renewal and a better future for Nigerians.
