The Zonal Chairman of the Youth Wing Christian Council of Nigeria (YOWICCN), Southwest Zone, Amb. Mayowa Ogundijo, has congratulated the Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, on his victory in the just-concluded Osun State Governorship Election.
Ogundijo, in a congratulatory message, described Adeleke’s victory as an opportunity for the governor to further strengthen inclusive governance and promote peace, justice and sustainable development across the state.
He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, election officials, observers and the media for their roles in the electoral process.
The YOWICCN Southwest Zonal Chairman also applauded the people of Osun State for their participation and contribution towards ensuring a peaceful election.
While congratulating Governor Adeleke, Ogundijo urged him to remain committed to carrying every citizen along, irrespective of political affiliation.
He said the governor’s administration should continue to prioritise unity, justice, peaceful coexistence and development for the benefit of all residents of Osun State.
“Once again, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, and pray that God grants him wisdom, strength and divine guidance as he continues to lead our dear state,” he stated.
Ogundijo reaffirmed the commitment of YOWICCN Southwest to initiatives that promote peace, responsible citizenship, youth participation and good governance across the region.
