The Oyo State Government has formally endorsed the Nigeria Business, Culture and Tourism, NBCT Fiesta 2026, describing it as a landmark initiative to position Oyo State as Nigeria’s leading destination for culture, business, and tourism.
In an official letter dated 11th August 2026 and signed by the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun, the Ministry affirmed its full institutional support, policy backing, and active collaboration for the event.
The NBCT Fiesta 2026 is proudly organized by EverythingNIGERIA and Partners in collaboration with the Oyo State Ministry of Culture and Tourism and other strategic public and private sector stakeholders.
According to the letter, the Fiesta is themed: “HARNESSING HEIGHT TO DRIVE A SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY” and is scheduled to hold from 24th to 26th November 2026 with an Exhibition Extension to 29th November 2026 at the National Museum of Unity, Aleshinloye, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Dr. Olatubosun stated that the initiative directly aligns with Governor Engr. Seyi Makinde’s Omituntun 2.0 Agenda to drive inclusive economic growth, job creation, and sustainable development through culture, tourism, and the creative economy.
“This initiative will also holistically advance the United Nations 2030 Agenda across all 17 Sustainable Development Goals through the HEIGHT framework,” the letter read.
The Ministry further called on MDAs, Corporate Brands, Financial Institutions, MSMEs, Development Partners, Diplomatic Missions, Embassies, Investors, Tourism Operators, and the general public to actively participate through sponsorship, partnership, exhibition, and delegate registration.
“Your involvement guarantees unmatched brand visibility, market access, networking with key decision-makers, and sustainable economic development in Oyo State,” the Commissioner stated.

The NBCT Fiesta delegation had earlier paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry, where plans to bring 10,000+ delegations to Ibadan for cultural exchange and investment were unveiled.
