The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Lagos State governorship candidate for the 2027 election, Laja Adeoye, has congratulated the newly elected members of the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) following the successful national convention held in Bauchi State.
Adeoye also congratulated the party’s National Leader, Senator Bala Mohammed, describing the convention as a significant milestone in the growth and development of the APM.
According to him, the party has, within a remarkably short period, established itself as a credible and frontline opposition platform capable of playing a major role in Nigeria’s political landscape.
He attributed the rapid growth and acceptance of the APM largely to the quality, credibility and widespread acceptance of its 2027 Presidential Candidate, Engr. Seyi Makinde, FNSE.
Adeoye said Nigerians were eagerly looking forward to the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence that Makinde would enjoy overwhelming support from voters across the country.
He particularly commended Makinde for his leadership and for providing the platform through which members of the party could contribute to the emergence of a stronger political alternative in Nigeria.
“We assure him that we will deliver impressive numbers across Nigeria at the 2027 polls,” Adeoye said.
The Lagos governorship candidate also expressed appreciation to delegates and party leaders from Lagos State, as well as other members who travelled from different parts of the country to participate in the national convention.
He described their contributions and participation as crucial to the success of the gathering, which he termed an “epoch-making National Convention.”
Adeoye further commended the people of Bauchi for their hospitality and warm reception throughout the convention.
He also appreciated the Emir of Bauchi for receiving members of the party during their courtesy visit, praying for the monarch’s long life and continued reign.
The APM chieftain said the successful convention had further strengthened the party’s resolve to build a formidable political structure ahead of the 2027 elections.
