Leading aspirant for the Oluyole State Constituency seat under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon Jayeola Quadri Olalekan (OMO OLA), has expressed profound appreciation to party leaders, delegates, supporters, and residents of Oluyole for their overwhelming support during the recently concluded party primary election.

In a message addressed to stakeholders and faithful across the constituency, OMO OLA acknowledged the confidence reposed in him by party members, noting that results available to his team indicate that he secured the highest number of votes in the exercise. However, he emphasized that the official declaration of the party’s candidate remains the responsibility of the appropriate authorities and urged his supporters to remain patient while awaiting the formal announcement from Abuja. He reiterated his confidence in the APC leadership and the integrity of the electoral process, expressing optimism that justice and fairness would prevail.

The APC assembly hopeful further appealed to all his supporters and political associates to maintain peace and avoid any form of confrontation, intimidation, or hostility toward fellow party members. He warned against actions capable of causing division within the party, stressing that neither he nor his campaign organization had authorized anyone to threaten leaders, party officials, or other aspirants. According to him, the primary objective remains the progress, unity, and development of Oluyole, adding that only a peaceful and united APC can achieve victory in the forthcoming general election. OMO OLA therefore called on everyone to remain calm, continue praying, and await the official announcement with dignity and respect for the party’s processes.
