Honourable Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo (OJO), an aspirant for the House of Representatives seat representing Ibadan North-West and Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency, on Wednesday held a strategic engagement with leaders and residents of Ward 11 at People’s Primary School, Ring Road, Ibadan South-West Local Government Area.

The interactive session provided an opportunity for direct engagement with the people, as Honourable Ogunbayo expressed appreciation for the warm reception and impressive turnout. He reiterated his commitment to delivering purposeful and people-oriented representation.
Speaking during the meeting, Ogunbayo noted that for several years, the constituency has not fully benefited from opportunities at the federal level. He emphasized his resolve to change the narrative by ensuring improved access to critical sectors such as healthcare, agriculture, youth empowerment, and job creation.
He called on stakeholders and residents to support his aspiration, assuring them of inclusive leadership that prioritizes the welfare and development of the people.

In their separate remarks, community leaders expressed confidence in his candidacy. Honourable Sakiru Oluranti described Ogunbayo’s aspiration as a welcome development, noting that the constituency has a history of credible representation at the federal level, and expressed optimism that he would uphold and surpass that legacy.

Similarly, Honourable Seyi Oladipo urged residents to rally behind Ogunbayo, stressing the importance of electing a representative who understands the needs of the people. He also advised the aspirant to remain committed to the grassroots and uphold the principle of putting the people first.
The Women Leader of the ward also pledged the support of women across the constituency, assuring Ogunbayo of their solidarity.
