A leading aspirant for the House of Representatives seat in Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency, Oluwatobi John Ogunbayo, has unveiled a people-focused development agenda aimed at addressing key social and economic challenges within the constituency.

Speaking at the start of the new month, Ogunbayo reiterated his commitment to a leadership approach centered on delivering tangible benefits to the people, stressing that governance must translate into meaningful improvements in citizens’ daily lives.

He noted that leadership should not be defined by title or position, but by the ability to create positive change. According to him, access to essential services—particularly healthcare—remains a priority under his proposed agenda.

As part of his plans, the aspirant announced a healthcare intervention programme that will provide free medical services to 1,000 constituents upon securing his party’s ticket. He maintained that quality healthcare should be accessible to all, regardless of economic status.

Ogunbayo also disclosed plans to enhance emergency medical response across the constituency through the provision of a fully equipped ambulance, a move he said would improve response time during emergencies and help save lives.

Addressing challenges in the education sector, he highlighted the financial burden many families face in ensuring regular school attendance for their children. To tackle this, he proposed the introduction of school transportation support through the provision of buses to convey students safely to and from school.

The aspirant emphasized that his proposals are practical and actionable, designed to promote inclusive development, strengthen families, and create opportunities for young people.

He called on residents of the constituency to support his vision, urging collective participation in building a responsive and people-driven system of governance.

Ogunbayo is contesting under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency seat.
