In a profound and heartfelt message, Laja Adeoye, MPD, a governorship aspirant for Lagos State under the umbrella of People Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed his deepest gratitude to the Almighty Allah for the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan 1447AH.
Adeoye emphasized the spiritual significance of the month, describing it as a period of renewed devotion, introspection, and purification of the heart and soul. He reflected on the discipline and sacrifice exhibited by Muslims across the globe, stating that these efforts bring one closer to the creator and align them with divine principles.
“It is with immense joy and a deep sense of gratitude that I join our Muslim brothers and sisters in celebrating the conclusion of this sacred journey,” Adeoye remarked.
“Ramadan is more than just a fast from dawn till dusk; it is a holistic training for the mind and spirit. It teaches us the values of empathy, humility, self-control, and the importance of looking out for the less fortunate in our communities.”
Adeoye noted that the successful fasting is a testament to the commitment of the faithful to their spiritual growth. He prayed that the lessons learned during this period would continue to guide and inspire everyone to live lives of greater righteousness and to extend kindness and support to all around them.
He further extended his best wishes for a joyous Eid al-Fitr, hoping the occasion would be filled with peace, happiness, and prosperity for all.
