France-based business mogul and All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Ekiti State, Harrison Olaniyi Alonge (HOA) has extended warm felicitations to a former Governor of Ekiti State and former Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, on the occasion of his 61st birthday.
In a congratulatory message released through his media aide Comrade Olawale Ogunyebi, Alonge described Dr. Fayemi as a visionary leader, accomplished intellectual, and a statesman of uncommon integrity, whose contributions to governance, democracy, and nation-building remain enduring and widely acknowledged.
According to Alonge, Dr. Fayemi’s tenure as Governor of Ekiti State was marked by purposeful leadership, infrastructural development, institutional reforms, and a strong commitment to human capital development, which laid a solid foundation for sustainable growth in the state.
The Ikere-Ekiti born philanthropist noted that beyond Ekiti State, Dr. Fayemi has continued to serve Nigeria with distinction, both as Minister of Solid Minerals Development and in other national and international capacities, earning respect for his depth, patriotism, and principled stance on issues of national importance.
“H.E. Dr. Kayode Fayemi is not only a pride of Ekiti State but also a shining example of what leadership should represent—service, sacrifice, and accountability. His intellectual depth and calm, inclusive approach to governance have inspired a generation of leaders within and beyond our state,” Alonge said.
