President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of four new ambassadors to key diplomatic missions. The nominees are:
– Ambassador Ayodele Oke to France
– Colonel Lateef Are to the United States
– Ambassador Amin Dalhatu to the United Kingdom
– Usman Isa Dakingari Suleiman to Turkey
These appointments are part of a larger effort to strengthen Nigeria’s diplomatic presence globally. The nominees were among 68 candidates confirmed by the Senate in December 2025
