The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious, has inspected the level of work at the ongoing reconstruction and dualisation of the Ariyo–Odeyale Road being handled by Samchase Construction Company.
The inspection, which took place yesterday, was part of the Chairman’s commitment to ensuring quality delivery and timely completion of critical infrastructure projects across the local government. Dr. Glorious expressed satisfaction with the pace and standard of work, stressing that the road project will greatly improve connectivity, ease transportation, and boost economic activities within the area.
Earlier in the day, the Executive Chairman also attended a special New Year prayer session organised by the Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE), Ona Ara Chapter, at the council secretariat in Akanran.
Addressing staff during the prayer session, Dr. Temitope Kolapo Glorious appreciated the workers for their dedication, loyalty, and support towards the achievements recorded by the administration in the past year. He described the workforce as the backbone of governance at the grassroots and commended their contributions to the development of Ona Ara Local Government.
The Chairman further assured the workers of his administration’s commitment to improving their welfare, noting that staff wellbeing remains a top priority in the new year.
“Our achievements so far are a product of collective effort. I sincerely appreciate your support and cooperation, and I assure you that this administration will continue to prioritise your welfare as we work together to move Ona Ara forward,” he said.
Dr. Glorious reaffirmed his resolve to sustain people-oriented governance through quality infrastructure, staff motivation, and inclusive development across all communities in Ona Ara Local Government.
