Comrade Chief (Mrs) Shittu Modupe Omotayo Oluyombo, fondly known as Yommy Dee Destiny, alongside her group, joined dignitaries and community leaders at the “One Woman, One Vote” sensitisation campaign organised by the Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion in Ibadan North.
The event, hosted by Honourable Commissioner Mrs Oluwatoyin Balogun, aimed at mobilising women for active participation in the electoral process, drew market women, political leaders, women-focused NGOs, and grassroots influencers from across the constituency.

Yommy Dee Destiny commended the Commissioner for her commitment to empowering women, describing the campaign as a bold and timely initiative that would strengthen women’s voices in governance.
“Honourable Toyin Balogun’s passion for women’s inclusion is inspiring. This campaign is a call to action for every woman to step forward and make her vote count,” she said.
She pledged her group’s continued support for women’s political empowerment and lauded Governor Seyi Makinde for fostering gender-inclusive policies in Oyo State.

The sensitisation programme featured keynote addresses, goodwill messages from top government officials, and a demonstration of proper voting procedures to reduce voided ballots.
