The Executive Governor of Oyo state and the Aare Omoluabi of Akure kingdom, His Excellency, Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde has been described as a leader with Charismatic and exemplary qualities that are legendary and worth emulating.
The words of commendations were made by the Executive Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Alh AbdulRahman Olanrewaju Adepoju in his congratulatory message to felicitate his Excellency, Engr Oluwaseyi Abiodun Makinde and his amiable Wife, Chief (Mrs) Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde on their installation as the Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom by his Imperial Majesty, Deji of Akure, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, as part of activities marking the paramount Ruler’s 10th year coronation Anniversary.
According to the Council Boss, the Honor of the Chieftaincy titles on His Excellency and His wife were not only for him but the entire people of Oyo state.He stressed that his doggedness, boundless energy, visionary leadership and commitment to the development of the state and the country made him stand out among his counterparts.
While rejoicing with His Excellency and His wife, the Executive Chairman reiterated that the people of Oyo state are proud of them for their unprecedented achievements and how they have reshaped the image of Ibadanland and Oyo state as a whole, hence their emergence as the Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure kingdom.
He asserted that the chieftaincy title bestowed on his Excellency is evidence to show the way and manner His Excellency has ruled which has ensured peace and harmony in the state.
The Council Chairman further applauded the paramount Ruler, Deji of Akure, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, for the prestigious Honor installed on His Excellency and wife, noting that the king has put the round peg in the round hole and assured that His Excellency and his darling wife will not betray the trust the king and the people of Akure kingdom had in them.
Alh Abdulrahman Adepoju on behalf of all his working cabinet, party stalwarts, Traditional Council members and residents of Ibadan Northwest Local Government has rejoiced with His Excellency,Engr Oluwaseyi Makinde and his Wife, Chief (Mrs) Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde on their installation as Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.
