Hon. (Chief) Akindipe Hammed Abiodun Akinsunbo, popularly known as Igba-Otun, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Governor Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, and his wife, Engr. (Mrs) Olufunke Makinde, on their recent installations as Aare Omoluabi and Yeye Aare Omoluabi of Akure Kingdom.

The prestigious titles were conferred by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, Odundun II, the Deji of Akure Kingdom, in commemoration of his 10th Coronation Anniversary — a celebration marked with honour, cultural pride, and appreciation of distinguished personalities.

Chief Akinsunbo, who serves as the Supervisory Councillor for Works in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government and holds the revered traditional title of Mayegun of Eleyele/Arometa, described the honour as a worthy recognition of the governor’s unwavering commitment to excellence in leadership and public service.

“This well-deserved honour reflects Governor Makinde’s unmatched dedication to good governance, people-driven development, and his embodiment of Omoluabi virtues. Her Excellency, Yeye Aare, has equally demonstrated grace, strength, and relentless support in complementing His Excellency’s vision,” he stated.

Hon. Akinsunbo praised the Deji of Akure for acknowledging such noble leadership, adding that the recognition resonates across Yoruba land and beyond as a testament to character, vision, and impact.

“Congratulations to Your Excellencies on this elevation. May your reign as Aare and Yeye Aare Omoluabi continue to inspire and uplift humanity,” he concluded.
