Mayegun Sunday Olusegun Babanuni, an aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Ibadan NorthWest/SouthWest Federal Constituency, has lauded Governor Seyi Makinde and the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, for their impactful leadership as the 10th Oyo Assembly marks its second anniversary.
Mayegun Babanuni praised the Assembly’s commitment to legislative excellence, developmental initiatives, and people-focused governance under the leadership of Ogundoyin and the visionary direction of Governor Makinde.
“The past two years have shown a commendable synergy between the executive and legislative arms of government in Oyo State. Governor Makinde’s dedication to sustainable development and Speaker Ogundoyin’s youthful, responsive leadership continue to position Oyo as a model for good governance in Nigeria,” he said.
Babanuni also expressed admiration for the State of the State address delivered by His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, on Friday, describing it as a bold and transparent reflection of progress and a renewed roadmap for the future.
“The Governor’s address was not only inspiring but also a testament to the tangible strides being taken across infrastructure, education, health, and security. It reaffirmed the confidence of the people in his administration,” Babanuni noted.
In the same vein, he extended warm congratulations to Hon. Dawood D-Al-Ameen (Ibadan NorthWest), Hon. Yusuff Adebisi (Ibadan SouthWest I), and Hon. Femi Fowokanmi a.k.a. BetterLife (Ibadan SouthWest II).
He commended their dedication, grassroots engagement, and legislative contributions that have helped shape the successes of the 10th Assembly.
“These honourable members have demonstrated uncommon commitment to their constituents. Their work speaks volumes, and I celebrate their efforts in advancing the interests of the people of Ibadan,” he added.
