The Young and Woman initiative- Yawiteam has commiserated with the entire people of Ibadan land on the demise of High Royal Highness, Oba Senator Dr Olalekan Balogun Alli-Okunmade II, the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan Land.
A statement released on behalf of the team by the Executive Director, Amb Adebobola Agbeja, described the beloved as being so supportive and accommodating.
“HRH Oba Olalekan Balogun Alli-Okunmade II do play host for the “Christmas in the slum ” a project of our NGO for the less privileged children to celebrate Christmas with Santa claus and distribution of gifts.
The Alarere palace served the organization for two years of his reign in partnership with the Olubadan chaplaincy in which we have been able to put smiles on the faces of children to celebrate the season.
His Royal Highness has been so supportive and accommodating through his reign as a king.
To the Balogun family of Aliwo compound and the people of Ibadanland, we extend our deepest condolences and pray that May his soul Rest in Peace.
