The Ibarapa East (Eruwa) born politician, popular ace broadcaster and actor, Amb. Opeyemi Ayanrinde popularly known as MC SWAGGER, who is also the Special Assistant on Mobilization to Oyo State Speaker “Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin as commiserate with the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde and the good people of Ibadan land over the death of “Late Oba Olalekan Mamoud Balogun.
MC SWAGGER, who also doubles as the Oyo State Coordinator for the Forum of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), Business Membership Organization (BMOs) of Nigeria. During his speech while on a chat with news men in Ibadan this afternoon, today March 15, 2024. prayed for the soul of the late Ibadan monarch, commiserating with rulling house at Gbenla Aliwo of Ibadan, people of Ibadan and family. May the soul of kabiesi rest in peace, may Ibadan land continue to enjoy peace, love and unity.
In his conclusion Amb. Ayanrinde says, “On behalf of the MSMEs National President, Director General, Council Chairman, National BOT Chairman, National Working Committee and Oyo State MSMEs Forum, we extend our deepest condolences to the family of late Oba Lekan Balogun (Olubadan of Ibadan Land) as he joined his ancestors.
Oba Lekan Balogun, will be greatly missed for his definition of kind gesture, sustenance of love, peace and unity among the traditional rulers, people of Oyo State, and the entire Ibadan community both at home and in the diaspora. May almighty Allah continue to bless, protect, guide and lead everything he left behind.
