The Honourable representating Ibadan North West State Constituency, Hon. Dawood Akanni Olalere Dal-ameen has joined illustrious sons and daughters of Ibadan both home and in diaspora to commiserate with the family of Late Oba(Dr) Sen. Lekan Balogun..Alli Okunmade 2 on his demise.
In a statement released early today through his Media, Hon. Olalere described the late King as Custodian of culture, Emblem of unification and educated one who have used all his entire life to make peace and progress for Ibadan and its indigenes.
“Kabiesi Oba Lekan Balogun has left a great vacuum as his death came as rude shock and monumental loss to the whole Ibadan people. Baba was an educated fellow who has passion to move Ibadan forward and unite the Omo Ibadan”
Kabiyesi left when we mostly need him and enjoy his reign as Olubadan. We sympathise with the family and all Ibadan sons and daughters both home and in diaspora!
May Allah accept him as His servant and give the entire Ibadan land the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Aljaanah firdaus straight for the great Olubadan.
