In the spirit of this Holy Month of Ramadan, a non governmental organization, TOOL Community Development Initiatives (TCDI), founded by Dr. Titilope Oguntade Oladele has embarked on a mission to spread joy and relief to vulnerable communities across Ibarapa zone of Oyo State. Through its Ramadan Support Package initiative, TCDI has successfully distributed cash support to over 200 beneficiaries, bringing hope and comfort to those people who need it most.
The event, which took place at the 02:20 Lounge and Bar, Eruwa, was attended by important dignitaries, including Mr. Abayomi Oguntade, the Chief Operations Officer of the organization who represented the President, Comrade Tijani Kazeem, EYM President, Comrade Fatai Oseni, among others.
Speaking virtually with newsmen, Dr. Mrs. Titilope Oguntade Oladele, sponsor of the Ramadan Support Packages, highlighted the purpose of the support.
She said, “the purpose of this Ramadan support is to provide succor to the vulnerable and less privileged in our community, especially during this holy month of Ramadan. We believe that this support package will bring some relief and joy to the beneficiaries, and also encourage them not to relent in their devotion and prayers during this sacred period and always.”
Beneficiaries, comprising vulnerable individuals, including aged women, widows, orphans, and indigents, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the President of the Initiative and stakeholders of TCDI for the timely intervention.
TCDI Volunteer Coordinator in Ibarapa Central and North, Hon. Segun Atilola who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries from the five towns in the constituency appreciated the founder, Titilope Oguntade Oladele, prayed for more provisions of God.
Atilola said, “The people of Ibarapa North and Central Federal Constituency (Igboora, Idere, Ayete, Tapa and Igangan) really appreciate your financial assistance during this challenging time, your generosity and willingness to help when it’s needed most meant more to us than words can express, we pray Almighty God will continue to provide for you. Thanks so much. TOOL INITIATIVES to the world.”
A beneficiary, Mrs Olayiwola Aminat from Eruwa, added, “We are grateful for the generosity of the President of the TOOL Foundation, this support package is a testament to her commitment to the welfare of our community.”
