Comrade Chief (Mrs) Shittu Modupe Omotayo Oluyombo proudly known as Yommy Dee Destiny, the coordinator of Oyo State PDP Patriotic Women has praised Governor Seyi Makinde for appointing Honorable Balogun as a commissioner of Oyo State Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Inclusion in his administration.
Yommy Dee Destiny described the appointment as a “landmark achievement” and a testament to Governor Makinde’s commitment to gender inclusivity and women empowerment.
“We are thrilled to see one of our own, Honorable Balogun, representing us in the government,” Comrade Shittu said. “Her activities so far are victory for Oyo State women and a demonstration of Governor Makinde’s dedication to our welfare.”
Comrade Shittu also commended Honorable Balogun for her tireless efforts in promoting women’s rights and development in the state.
“We have no doubt that she will continue to be a strong voice for us and work tirelessly to address our concerns,” Chief (Mrs) Shittu added.
This is seen as a significant milestone in Governor Makinde’s administration, demonstrating his commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment in Oyo State.
