Ambassador Engr Dr David Olusegun Okanlawon has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of Late Governor Abiola Ajimobi over the passing of their daughter, Bisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi.
The late Busola reportedly died after a brief illness in the United Kingdom, at age 42.
She was the first child of the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, and the Managing Director of Grandex Nigeria Limited, married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, with whom she had three children.
In a statement made available by the Director of Media and Communications to David Olusegun Okanlawon on Thursday, described Bisola’s death as a tragic loss to the pacesetter state and nation as a whole.
“It is with profound sadness that I mourn the passing of the first child of Late Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi. We have lost a very beautiful soul, and it’s a tragic loss that leaves an unfillable vacuum.”
Okanlawon offered his condolences to the entire Ajimobi family, particularly during this difficult time. “May you find strength in the love and support that surrounds you, and may the cherished memories of your beloved child bring you comfort and peace.”
