Oyo market leader, Princess Afolashade Abeo Nurudeen, has joined thousands of well-wishers to felicitate with former Governor of Oyo State and Oba Oju-Opa, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, on his 80th birthday.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Wednesday in Ibadan, Princess Abeo described Oba Ladoja as a true ambassador of Ibadanland and a living legend.
She noted that young ones are inspired by Senator Ladoja’s achievements in politics, government, business, and traditional institutions.
Princess Abeo praised the former senator for his extensive developmental projects throughout the state, which demonstrate his dedication to serving the people.
She added that the former senator’s historic achievements as a Federal Republic of Nigeria parliamentarian and governor of the state that sets the pace for innovation have made him stand out as an industrialist, elder statesman, and politician with vision.
In her words: “Oba Ladoja is a selfless leader who has always put the interests of Ibadanland and Oyo State above his own. His contributions to the development of our state are immeasurable.
