In a momentous ceremony held at the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Faith Palace in Basiri Area, Ado Ekiti, Harrison Niyi Alonge, the esteemed CEO and Founder of the Harrison Niyi Alonge Care Foundation, was officially invested as a Bible Ambassador by the Bible Society of Nigeria.
The event, which took place on Thursday, October 17, drew a large crowd of dignitaries, church leaders, and community members.
The Bible Society of Nigeria honored Alonge for his unwavering commitment to promoting biblical literacy and social welfare through his foundation. His work has significantly impacted the lives of many, particularly in underserved communities, through various outreach programs focused on education, health, and spiritual empowerment.
During the ceremony, Harrison Niyi Alonge was represented by Hon Barr Ola Alonge who expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the importance of the Bible in guiding his philanthropic efforts. “This honor is not just a personal achievement; it represents a collective mission to spread the Word of God and uplift our communities,” he stated.
The event featured inspiring speeches from local pastors and community leaders, highlighting Alonge’s contributions and the role of the Bible in fostering positive change. The Bible Society also outlined its ongoing initiatives to distribute Bibles and promote biblical teachings across Nigeria.
As the newly appointed Bible Ambassador, Alonge will serve as a vital link between the society and the communities it aims to serve, advocating for the transformative power of scripture in everyday life.
The guest speaker of the event, Rev Dr Emmanuel Adeyinka Abibasoye gave his insight with a theme – A New Beginning from the book of Isaiah 43:1 “But now, this is what the Lord says… Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine”.
The investiture marks a significant milestone for both Harrison Alonge and the Harrison Niyi Alonge Care Foundation, promising to enhance their ongoing efforts in nurturing faith and promoting social responsibility across Ekiti State and beyond.
