Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, will launch Idunnu Omo’s latest album, “Asiko” (Time), on October 27, 2024, at Genesis Hall in Challenge, Ibadan. This highly anticipated event will bring together dignitaries from various walks of life, showcasing the renowned Islamic artist’s work, which holds special significance for Governor Makinde, particularly in Muslim-related events in Oyo State.
According to Alhaja Barakat Olanrewaju Omotolani, Idunnu Omo, the album was inspired by spiritual experiences and real-life events. She expressed gratitude to Governor Makinde for his support in nurturing her talent to benefit humanity.
The event will also honor outstanding personalities in Oyo State and Nigeria, including Alhaji AZEEZ Akeem, Personal Assistant to the Governor; Alhaji Abdul-Mojeed Mogbonjubola, Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources; Mogaji Akin Fagbemi, Chairman of the Hospital Management Board; Hon. Akeem Ige, Chairman, Oyo State Local Governmenr Pension Board amongst others.
