The National Association of Nigerian Broadcasters (ANBROAD), led by President Comrade AbdulRasaq AbdulGaneey, has ushered in a new era of leadership with the establishment of a Board of Trustees and a Council of Elders Forum. At the association’s Maiden Congress, held at YES FM Hall, Felele, Ibadan on Thursday, August 22nd, 2024, Mr. Sulaimon Adegbenro was sworn in as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, while Mr. Yemi Sonde took the oath as Chairman of the Council of Elders.
According to a statement released by the Corporate Communication Secretary, Mr. Akolade Adekola, the President and members unanimously adopted a new policy, wherein the chairman of ANBROAD in each state will henceforth be referred to as ‘GOVERNOR’
Furthermore, ANBROAD has announced November 17th, 2024, as the inauguration date for the new National Executives, promising a fun and colorful ceremony featuring a renowned musician. The event is scheduled to take place in Ibadan, as confirmed by the President.
