Honourable Abayomi Fagbenro, popularly known as Bibire and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Oyo State, has celebrated the wife of the Governor, Her Excellency Mrs Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, on the occasion of her 53rd birthday.

In a statement made available to Polity Reporters on Monday, the former House of Representatives candidate for Ibadan Southwest and Northwest Federal Constituency in 2019 praised the First Lady for her unrelenting dedication to noble causes without minding the personal cost and sacrifices.

Hon Bibire, who described her as a courageous and kindhearted woman with strong values and unflagging principles, thanked the celebrant for being a solid support system for the Governor.

He noted that since Governor Seyi Makinde assumed office in May 2019, Mrs Makinde, as the First Lady, has positively touched the lives of many people across Oyo State, particularly women and children.

He said reaching the age of 53 in good health is a blessing worth celebrating, especially for someone who has shown genuine care and continues to show strong passion for the wellbeing of the less privileged across the state.

The retired United States Navy veteran also praised her efforts in making sure young minds have access to quality primary and secondary education, saying these efforts have brought about impressive results and placed Oyo State ahead of many others.

He equally commended her impactful humanitarian efforts directed at providing support and comfort to the poor and vulnerable in the society, declaring her as a pillar of hope for many.

According to him, these efforts are countless and difficult to fully enumerate, but I must confess that they have brought about direct and indirect benefits to thousands of lives in meaningful ways.

This was as he acknowledged her meaningful contributions to national and state affairs, noting that her courage and boldness in speaking up for the good people of Oyo State and Nigerians in general show her deep commitment to the progress of Oyo State and the country.

“On behalf of Bibire Peoples Vision Association and my wonderful wife, Antonia, I heartily congratulate the First Lady of Oyo State, Her Excellency, Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, on the occasion of her 53rd birthday,” Bibire said.

“I pray Almighty God will continue to bless you with long life and good health as you forge ahead in your dedicated service to the good people of Oyo State, and humanity at large,” he ended.
