The Founder of the Omituntun Benedict Foundation and the Agba’Akin Ataiyse Oodua Agbaye, Oloye Benedict Akika, has extended warm congratulations to Dr. Adesina Kazeem Abidikugu (KSO) and his wife on their installation as the new Agbaakin Bobajiro and Yeye Agbaakin Bobajiro of Ibadanland by Olubadan of Ibadanland.
In a congratulatory statement made available to 9ja News 24/7, Agba’Akin Akika described Dr. Abidikugu, who is also the founder of the DAKA Foundation and wife, as “worthy son and daughter of Ibadanland and patriotic Nigerians whose strides in philanthropy and community development speak volumes.”
“Dr. Adesina Abidikugu has, over the years, demonstrated outstanding commitment to the upliftment of the less privileged and the promotion of education, health, and empowerment through his DAKA Foundation,” Akika stated. “Their installation as the Agbaakin Bobajiro and Yeye Agbaakin Bobajiro of Ibadanland is not only well deserved but also a recognition of their service to humanity and devotion to the values of our rich cultural heritage.”
The Omituntun Benedict Foundation and the DAKA Foundation have both been instrumental in grassroots development efforts, with particular focus on youth empowerment, healthcare outreach, and community upliftment across Oyo State and beyond.
Akika also expressed confidence that Dr. Abidikugu and wife will bring more honor and progressive initiatives to Ibadanland in his new traditional role.
“The Agbaakin and Yeye Agbaakin Bobajiro title is one of dignity and responsibility. I have no doubt that Dr. Abidikugu and his wife will wear it with pride and distinction. On behalf of myself, Omituntun Benedict Foundation, and all across Yorubaland, I say congratulations to my dear brother and fellow servant of the people,” he concluded.
