Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON), Oyo state, has described lawmaker representing Lagelu state constituency at the State House of Assembly, Honourable Akintunde Olajide as promising politician with bright future ahead of him.
ALGON president in Oyo, Honourable Sikiru Sanda made this disclosure yesterday in a congratulatory message to Hon. AKT as he is fondly called on the occasion of his November 19 birthday celebration.
Sanda, a former lawmaker and current Executive Chairman of Egbeda local government noted that Hon. Akintunde has distinguished himself as one of the finest honourable member of both 9th and 10th assembly with many achievements to his credit.
The Oyo state ALGON boss, added that the celebrant has been an influential member of the House being the House Committee Chairman on Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.
Describing him as the bridge between the Oyo state House of Assembly and the 33 Local Government and 35 LCDAs across the state, Hon. Sanda note that ALGON recognizes the tremendous efforts made by the lawmaker in ensuring effective governance at the grassroots level.
The Egbeda Council boss equally stated that AKT has carried on with his legislative duties with utmost commitment and vigor required for effective and qualitative representation which said justifies the trust reposed in him and the support he enjoys by his people in Lagelu state constituency.
