As the world welcomes the new month of March and the holy month of Ramadan, Hon. Akindipe Hammed Abiodun Akinsunbo, popularly known as Igba-Otun, has sent heartfelt prayers to constituents, friends, family and good people of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government, Oyo State.
Chief Akinsunbo, who serves as the Supervisory Councillor for Works in Ibadan NorthWest Local Government and holds the esteemed title of Mayegun of Eleyele/Arometa, expressed his well-wishes for the new month, saying, “May this new month bring us peace, prosperity, and happiness. May our prayers be answered, and may we be guided by the divine wisdom of Allah.”
As the Muslim community prepares for the holy month of Ramadan, Chief Akinsunbo prayed for a successful and rewarding fasting period.
“May this Ramadan bring us closer to Allah, and may our fasting be accepted. May we use this opportunity to reflect on our lives, seek forgiveness, and strive to become better versions of ourselves,” he said.
Chief Akinsunbo’s prayers were filled with hope and optimism for the new month and the holy month of Ramadan. He urged everyone to use this opportunity to seek blessings, forgiveness, and guidance from Allah.¹
He further prayed for the Secretary of Oyo State PDP; Alhaji Wasiu Adeleke, Executive Chairman of Ibadan NorthWest Local Government; Alhaji Rahman Adepoju and all leaders for the continuous strength and wisdom of God in the progress of Ibadan NorthWest and Oyo State.
