Oyo state Market Secretaries Clusters under the leadership of Alhaji Lawal Isiaka has congratulated Honourable Akintunde Olajide on the occasion of his birthday celebration today.
The Association said AKT as he is fondly called, deserves all the accolades he gets on the occasion of his birthday celebration because of his passion for his people and the entire Lagelu Local Government.
A statement by the Chairman of the Market Secretaries Clusters in the state, Alhaji Lawal Isiaka described AKT as a selfless, dedicated, humble, and compassionate man who has redefined legislative representation in the Lagelu’s history at the state assembly.
The Association stated further that the role played by Honourable Akintunde while he chaired House Committee on Commerce and Cooperative gave birth to stability and tremendous transformation in the regulation of Oyo state Market men and women Association.
The Association disclosed that the legal framework that has reshaped the leadership structure which clearly provides for equity, fairness and justice contrary to what used to obtain in the past has led to equitable distribution of zoning of offices which led to the emergence of Princes Folashade Abeo as the Iyaloja General of Oyo state from Oyo zone.
Furthermore, the Association stated that the impact of AKT in the administration of Oyo state Market Men and Women Association could not be overemphasized as unnecessary encumbrances which usually previously marginalized other zones have been removed through the provisions of zoning arrangements as contained in the legal framework of the Association.
While celebrating the lawmaker for another birthday celebration, the Association noted that AKT remains a blessing within the Oyo state political landscape not just to the people of Lagelu Local Government but to the entire Market Men and Women Association in the state.
