In a colourful banquet / induction ceremony, the Great Follow Club of The Polytechnic Ibadan has recognized and decorated Chief Benedict Akika, Founder of Omituntun Benedict Foundation as its Grand Patron, in appreciation of his outstanding contributions to community and human capacity development.
The club, known for its commitment to human capacity development of students in The Polytechnic Ibadan , acknowledged Akika’s selfless dedication to empowering individuals and communities, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and economic empowerment.
The Great Follow Club’s President, LF Oluwaferanmi Victor Oloyede, praised Akika’s commitment to human capacity development, saying, “Chief Benedict Akika’s tireless efforts have made a significant difference. His passion for empowering others is truly inspiring, and we are honored to have him as our Grand Patron.”
As Grand Patron, Akika is expected to provide guidance and support to the club’s initiatives, further amplifying its impact and reach.
In his acceptance speech, Akika expressed his gratitude to the club and reiterated his commitment to community development, saying, “I am humbled by this recognition and pledge to continue working tirelessly towards building a better future for our communities.”
