The Executive Chairman of Ona Ara Local Government, Dr. Temitope Kolapo GLORIOUS, has expressed his profound appreciation for Governor Seyi Makinde’s sustainable development plan in Oyo State. He also lauded the Chief Executive Officer of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resort, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, for his unwavering support towards good governance in the state.
This was disclosed in a press statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Chairman, Mr. Rahmon Alawode, following the official commissioning of a side road interlocking project at Amuloko Junction along Akanran Road. The project was initiated by the Local Government Chairman, Dr. Temitope GLORIOUS, and interlock donated by Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi.
In his speech, Dr. Kolapo Temitope GLORIOUS detailed the substantial support Chief Jubril Sanusi has provided to the local government’s initiatives, both in terms of innovative ideas and financial assistance. He highlighted the improvement of the Ariyo bridge as a prime example, noting that while the Local Government laid the initial foundation with hardcore materials, Chief Jubril Sanusi contributed 18 trucks of stone dust to further enhance the road from Ariyo down to Akanran.
Dr. GLORIOUS concluded by urging other business owners and investors to follow the example set by the Ilaji Resort boss in supporting government efforts to develop the community.
