Hon. Abayomi Fagbenro-Bibire, the founder of the Hope Also Needs Help Foundation, has expressed his felicitation to the re-elected Chairman of Ibadan Northwest Local Government, Hon. Rahman Adepoju, his vice, Hon. Ganiyy Omotoso, and all other councillors across the 11 wards for their successes in the Local Government elections conducted yesterday, April 27, 2024.
In a congratulatory statement on Sunday, Hon Bibire, who supported the party’s flagbearers with N2.1 million, credited the seamless victory to the combined efforts and unity within the party throughout the campaign period.
His words, “The success at the polls is a direct outcome of the cohesive teamwork and unity within the party, coupled with the credibility and appeal of our candidates to the electorates.”
He stressed that “the overwhelming victory further validates the fact that the residents of Ibadan Northwest Local Government are aligned with the ongoing developmental strides of Governor Seyi Makinde throughout the state, hence their decision to vote the PDP for continued progress, enhanced societal growth, and overall development.”
Bibire however thanked the good people of Ibadan Northwest Local Government for their wise choice, noting “the local government is on the threshold of greatness.”
Bibire urgd the councillors, as well as the Chairman and Vice Chairman, to uphold their policies driven by altruism and ensure that the residents of the local government continue to benefit from the dividends of democracy at the grassroots level.
He prayed that God would grant them the wherewithal to succeed in this new responsibility entrusted them by the electorates.
