
The Man O’War Nigeria has extended warm greetings to Muslims and children across the state as Nigerians celebrate Barika De Sallah (Ileya) and Children’s Day.

In a statement issued from the Office of the State Commander, Yekeen Lukman thanked Allah for granting everyone the opportunity to witness another Ileya season. He prayed for divine protection, provision, good health, and grace to continue serving God and humanity better.

The State Commander also congratulates children on the occasion of Children’s Day, praying for wisdom, knowledge, understanding, sound health, protection, and testimonies in their lives.

Speaking on security matters, he commended the state government and the federal government, especially the Oyo state government, in its efforts so far in rescuing the abducted children, and we pray that all his efforts will yield a positive result by welcoming the children back to their parents and the teachers to their families.
He further charged members of the public to remain security conscious, emphasizing the need for timely information sharing with the slogan, “When you see something, say something.”
The Command also congratulated the National Youth Council of Nigeria led by Comrade Eniola Alex and the NYCN Christian Wing Fellowship led by Comrade Akogun Elufisan Oludare Marcus JP FCSS DSC FWIP ahead of the forthcoming “Faith and Praise 2026” programme scheduled for Sunday, May 31, 2026, at St. Paul Anglican Church Hall, Yemetu, Ibadan.
The statement encouraged all voluntary youth and affiliated organizations to participate in the spiritual gathering.
