The Oyo State Councilors Forum (2021/2024), under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Muili Kazeem Arowodana, has reaffirmed its unflinching support for the administration of Seyi Makinde, describing him as their undisputed leader and principal.
In a statement released to the press, the Forum emphasized its total loyalty to Governor Makinde, pledging continued cooperation and alignment with his vision for Oyo State. The councillors also called on party members to remain calm and steadfast, urging them not to entertain fear amid ongoing political developments.
Addressing concerns surrounding the recent National Convention held in Abuja, the Forum stated unequivocally that the event does not in any way shake their commitment or loyalty.
“The National Convention cannot move us. We are 100 percent with Governor Seyi Makinde. He remains our leader and principal. Wherever he goes, we go,” the statement read.
The Forum further stressed the importance of unity within the party, noting that Governor Makinde’s leadership continues to inspire confidence across all levels of the party structure, particularly at the grassroots.
