AN OPEN LETTER TO THE LEADERS, STAKEHOLDERS, AND FAITHFUL MEMBERS OF OUR GREAT PARTY IN IBADAN NORTH WEST, AND HIS EXCELLENCY, THE EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF OYO STATE
Your Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde,
Esteemed Party Leaders,
Respected Stakeholders,
And Dedicated Members of Our Great Party,
I write with utmost respect, humility, and a deep sense of responsibility to our party and the good people of Ibadan North West.
First, I wish to sincerely appreciate the purposeful leadership and unwavering commitment of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, whose governance continues to bring remarkable progress and renewed hope to Oyo State. Your administration remains a shining example of people-oriented leadership.
To our distinguished leaders and stakeholders in Ibadan North West, I acknowledge and commend your tireless efforts in sustaining the unity, growth, and strength of our party. Your sacrifices and leadership continue to guide many of us.
I write today with humility and a clear sense of purpose to formally express my intention to contest for a seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Ibadan North West State Constituency, under the platform of our great party.
This aspiration is not driven by entitlement, but by a sincere desire to serve and contribute meaningfully to the development of our constituency and the continued success of our party.
In 2019 and again in 2023, I made the conscious and difficult decision to step down my ambition in the interest of party unity and collective progress. Those decisions were guided by loyalty, discipline, and respect for leadership.
While it is evident that some who benefitted from those sacrifices later chose to leave our party, I remained steadfast and committed. I did not abandon our structure. I stood firm, continued to work, and upheld the values and vision of our party.
Today, I present myself once again—more experienced, more prepared, and more determined—to serve the good people of Ibadan North West through effective representation in the Oyo State House of Assembly.
Our people deserve responsive leadership that understands their needs—youth empowerment, community development, economic opportunities, and inclusive governance. I am ready to listen, to engage, and to deliver.
However, I recognise that leadership is built on trust and collective support. I therefore humbly seek your guidance, your fatherly counsel, and your unwavering support as I step forward on this journey.
I remain loyal. I remain committed. I remain ready to serve.
Together, under the leadership of His Excellency, we can strengthen our party further and deliver greater dividends of democracy to our people.
I respectfully appeal to all leaders and stakeholders to consider my track record of loyalty, sacrifice, and dedication as I seek your support for this noble aspiration.
May we continue to work together in unity, peace, and progress.
