Eid-el-Fitr: Aare D-Al-Ameen Celebrates with Muslims, Calls for Peace and Vigilance

The Aare Musulumi of Ibadan North-West Local Government Area of Oyo State and member representing Ibadan North-West State Constituency in the Oyo State House of Assembly, Dawood Olalere, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah in Ibadan North-West and Ibadan South-West Local Government Areas on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr.

In a goodwill message released through the Sorosoke Media Team, the lawmaker congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, describing the period as one marked by spiritual renewal, sacrifice, and total submission to the will of Almighty Allah.

D-Al-Ameen urged the faithful to sustain the virtues of piety, patience, love, and generosity cultivated during Ramadan, stressing that such values are critical to promoting unity and peaceful coexistence in society.

Highlighting the importance of the festive period, the frontline aspirant for Ibadan North-West/South-West Federal Constituency also called on residents to prioritise security consciousness, especially during the celebrations.

He advised citizens to remain vigilant, promptly report suspicious activities to relevant authorities, and support security agencies in safeguarding lives and property.

“While we celebrate, we must not lose sight of our collective responsibility to protect our communities. Security is a shared duty, and we must all remain alert and proactive,” he said.

The lawmaker further appealed to youths to shun violence and criminality, urging them to embrace peaceful conduct, lawful engagement, and community development.

He concluded by wishing Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful Eid-el-Fitr celebration, while praying for the acceptance of their عبادات and for sustained peace, progress, and prosperity in Nigeria.
