Aspirant for the House of Representatives, Ibadan Southwest/Northwest Federal Constituency, Ogunbayo Oluwatobi has congratulated former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo, on his emergence as the new Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State.
Chief Adeyemo was elected during the party’s State Congress held on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, an exercise conducted across the 36 states of the federation to strengthen party structures at the state level.
In a statement issued in Ibadan, Ogunbayo described Adeyemo’s emergence as a “well-earned mandate,” noting that his experience, loyalty, and dedication to progressive politics would further reposition the APC in Oyo State.
“Chief Moses Alake Adeyemo has consistently demonstrated capacity, integrity, and commitment to the growth of our great party. I am confident that under his leadership, the APC in Oyo State will witness renewed unity, discipline, and grassroots expansion,” Ogunbayo said.
The Reps hopeful also congratulated other members of the newly inaugurated state executive committee, urging them to work in harmony to consolidate the party’s achievements and build a stronger platform ahead of future elections.
He called on party members across the state to rally behind the new leadership, emphasising that collective effort and internal cohesion remain critical to sustaining the APC’s dominance and delivering democratic dividends to the people.
Ogunbayo further reaffirmed his unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, commending what he described as the President’s bold reforms and commitment to repositioning both the APC and Nigeria on the path of sustainable growth and national development.
According to him, the Renewed Hope agenda has continued to inspire confidence within the party and among Nigerians, stressing that the APC remains focused on good governance, economic transformation, and inclusive progress.
