Oyo Reps Hopeful, D-Al-Ameen Storms ADC Ibadan Southwest Local Government, Promises Inclusive Leadership and Unity

A House of Representatives hopeful on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Ibadan NorthWest and SouthWest Federal Constituency, Aare (Hon) Dr. Dawood Akanni Olalere, popularly known as D-Al-Ameen attended the Southwest Local Government meeting of the party in grand style.

The meeting, held in Oke- Ado  Area of Ibadan, witnessed the presence of party leaders, stakeholders, and enthusiastic members who gathered to deliberate on strategies for strengthening the party’s structure and fostering unity ahead of forthcoming political engagements.

Hon. Olalere who is currently a member representing Ibadan North West State Constituency at the Oyo State House of Assembly, used the occasion to reaffirm his commitment to inclusive leadership, grassroots development, and people-centered representation.

The Chairman of ADC in Ibadan Southwest, Comrade Idris Lawal warmly welcomed Hon. D-Al-Ameen while urging members to rally round him as he prepares to extend his dividends of democracy to the Local Government Area. He noted that those who join the movement now have demonstrated genuine commitment, unlike others who are yet to take a decisive step.

In his address, D-Al-Ameen emphasized the importance of unity, cooperation, and collective responsibility among party members. He stressed that only through cohesion can the ADC achieve greater electoral success in the 2027 general elections. He called on members to set aside differences and work together in the interest of the party, the constituency, and Nigeria at large, describing the ADC as a viable alternative for national transformation.

In a show of solidarity and compassion, Hon. D-Al-Ameen donated bags of rice and provided cash support as a token towards assisting members during the fasting period. The gesture was warmly received and applauded by party faithfuls.

The meeting was further energized by Team Sorosoke ladies and other stakeholders, who made the gathering colourful with songs and vibrant enthusiasm, adding excitement to the event.

The meeting ended on a high note, with renewed optimism and a shared resolve to build a stronger and more united ADC in Ibadan North West and South West Federal Constituency.
