The People’s Democratic Party PDP South West has commiserated with the Governor of Oyo State, Seyi Makinde over the death of Olubadan, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr Moshood Lekan Balogun who passed on yesterday.
The party in a statement signed by its Zonal Publicity Secretary Chief Sanya Atofarati said the late monarch has lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation
“The south west PDP family condole with the Oyo State Governor Engr Seyi Makinde and the entire people of Ibadanland on the sad news of the passing of Oba Dr Lekan Balogun after a brief illness.
“It is no doubt that the revered monarch lived an exemplary and fulfilled life that is worthy of emulation as a first class traditional ruler who has played his part in the progress and development of Ibadan and Oyo State as a whole.
“We commiserate with Governor Seyi Makinde and the people of Oyo State. We pray that God Almighty will give the people of the state the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss’
