HON. AFEEZ OMONIYI (OXYGEN) FELICITATES OKERE OF SAKI LAND ON 6TH CORONATION ANNIVERSARY
The Honourable Member representing Oyo North Senatorial District at the South West Youth Parliament (SWYP), Hon. Afeez Omoniyi, has extended warm felicitations to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Khalid Olabisi, the Okere of Saki Land, on the occasion of his 6th coronation anniversary.
In his remarks made available through his Director of Media and Publicity, the Honourable Member described the anniversary as a notable milestone that reflects a reign defined by stability, responsible traditional leadership, and sustained commitment to peace and development in Saki Land and the wider Oke-Ogun region.
Hon. Omoniyi commended His Royal Majesty for his consistent efforts in fostering unity, preserving cultural heritage, and promoting constructive engagement among stakeholders, noting that the Okere of Saki Land has continued to play a vital role in strengthening community cohesion and supporting initiatives that advance socio-economic progress.
He further acknowledged the evolving relevance of traditional institutions in contemporary governance, emphasising that the leadership of the Okere of Saki Land exemplifies how royal authority can complement modern development efforts, particularly in youth inclusion, peace-building, and community advancement.
As His Royal Majesty marks six years on the throne, Hon. Omoniyi prayed for continued good health, wisdom, and strength, and expressed confidence that the reign of the Okere of Saki Land will continue to yield positive and lasting impact for the people of Saki Land.
